ਅਨਦੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਵਡਭਾਗੀਹੋ ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰੇ ॥
O most fortunate ones, listen to the Psalm of Bliss and extinguish all your worldly desires.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਉਤਰੇ ਸਗਲ ਵਿਸੂਰੇ ॥
You will then unite with the Lord, who will remove all your ills and sorrows.
ਦੂਖ ਰੋਗ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਉਤਰੇ ਸੁਣੀ ਸਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
All pains, illnesses and sufferings vanish on hearing the Guru’s verses of true devotion.
ਸੰਤ ਸਾਜਨ ਭਏ ਸਰਸੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਜਾਣੀ ॥
The saints and guru-orientated souls, who connect with their Guru’s Teachings, always bask in blissful glow.
ਸੁਣਤੇ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਕਹਤੇ ਪਵਿਤੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰੇ ॥
Pure and pious are those who listen and recite Guru’s Word. The Lord of Eternal Truth is all-pervading.
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣ ਲਾਗੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਤੂਰੇ ॥੪੦॥੧॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 922}
Implores Nanak, submit to the Guru’s Will and Teachings, the sound current of the unstruck melody will vibrate in the home of your quintessence self. (40) SGGS 922
