ਮਨਿ ਚਾਉ ਭਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਗਮੁ ਸੁਣਿਆ ॥
My mind is ecstatic with joy on hearing of the coming of the Supreme Master.
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਉ ਸਖੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਹੁ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਬਣਿਆ ॥
Welcome the Lord with songs of joy, O friends, my soul’s household (inner-self) has become the Lord Master’s Temple.
ਹਰਿ ਗਾਉ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਨਿਤ ਸਖੀਏ ਸੋਗੁ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਵਿਆਪਏ ॥
Welcome the Lord, each day, singing the songs of joy, no sorrow or pain will then afflict you.
ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨ ਲਾਗੇ ਦਿਨ ਸਭਾਗੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਜਾਪਏ ॥
Blessed are the days when we attach to the Guru’s feet (Shabad) and meditate upon our Lord and Master.
ਅਨਹਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਜਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਭੋਗੋ ॥
Through the potent power of the Shabad (Guru’s Word/Teachings) we get to relish the bliss of the unstruck melody and the sweet essence of Lord’s Name.
ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਜੋਗੋ ॥੩੪॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 921}
Says Nanak, sing the songs of joy, the Lord Himself (the Initiator of cause and effect) has come to bless me.

Note: The Third Nanak avers:
My joyful mind senses the coming of the One. The household within, transforms itself into the Lord’s Temple and my companions (Sangat) welcome the Lord, singing songs of joy.
