Where is Dasam Duar located?
There’s a lot of talk about the location of Dasam Duar. Some say it’s located between the eyes, whilst others claim it’s in the heart, and, then there are other claims too.
However, Dasam Duar is not a physical location, it is simply the veil between the asthool sareera (the physical body/existence) and the sooksham sareera (the subtle body/inner being/soul). How do we remove this veil, how do we destroy the dark screen which prevents us from looking into our soul?
This veil of falsehood can only be shredded if we loosen the grip of negative traits (lust, anger, greed, attachment & egotism). weighing us down. We must unshackle our minds and bodies from the worldly desires and temptations which derail us from the righteous path of honest living (belief & constant focus on the One, honest earnings and sharing the fruits of our labour and knowledge with the less fortunate).
Gradually, as we detach ourselves from the temptations of the physical world, we begin transiting towards the subtle body (the Realm of Spirituality).
Whilst performing the duties of the householder (Dharam Khand – Arena of Karma & Spiritual Law), we educate ourselves on the real purpose of our existence (Gyan Khand – state of cultivating spiritual wisdom). Elevated thinking enables us to see the beauty of God’s creation which helps us to carve and fashion our soul, shed the dirt of karma encapsulating our soul (Saram Khand – Realm of Beauty & Humility). Our soul begins to blossom and breaks away from obsessive worldly ties and gives us the glimpse of the world of exalted souls, saints and mighty warriors (Karam Khand – Realm of Grace). The stage is now reached where we await at the Gate of Truth (Sach Khand) the call of Jeevan Mukti (Liberation, Redemption whilst still in human form.
