There are a lot of questions on why we are not progressing the way we should.
The Sikh Panth should think on the lines government budgets are managed. If you spend too much on welfare, there’s little left in the kitty to develop the institutions.
Running langars is a noble concept, but it’s overdone … a bit of a _bhed chaal_, as we say in Panjabi. These should be organised where they are really needed, and kept *simple* …. no point in feeding the overfed with 5-course meals.
This will spare more resources to develop our institutions, education, health, technology, political literacy etc.
Awareness needs to be cultivated amongst the youth, we, oldies, are a spent force 😊.
Education in the vital fields of technology (AI in particular), law, economics & political acumen are a few that come to mind.
