Sense Organs (Gyan Indryaan)

SENSE ORGANS (Gyan Indryaan)
Eyes are one of the five sense organs (gyan-indryaan), the others being, ears, nose, tongue and skin, through which we acquire knowledge.

The eyes see, send signals to the mind, which are screened and analysed by our discerning intellect (bibek buddhi). However, the bibek buddhi weakens when our eyes are dazzled by the razzmatazz of the outer world. Our ability to distinguish between good and bad, wrong and right weakens, and we, gradually, sink into the swamp of Maya, mistaking it for a pool of comfort and joy. We stop looking inwards, missing out on the divine pool of nectar within.

Open the inner-eyes, discover the wealth of peace, tranquility and bliss within.

Have a Blissful Day.
