Mortal v The Pious

Mortal v The Pious

Life’s path is strewn with thorns and stones. Even the pious have to walk it. Sometimes you walk over them and bear the pain as best as you can, and at other times, you tread a narrow path and try to avoid the obstacles. The difference between the pious and the rest is, the former don’t complain, they learn to bear the pain, as they strive to rise above the temptations of worldly pleasures and passions. They quietly absorb the pain as the Will of the Lord. Complaining, lashing out against those around them is not in their nature.
The pious take on the five stalwarts (lust, rage, greed, attachment and egotism) head on.
Emulate the saintly.
