We often hear people say:
“We come with nothing, we go with nothing.”
Perhaps, we can view the statement from another perspective. We do come with the precious opportunity to do good. to give a good account of our life, our stay in the world. Although, we depart empty-handed in terms of material wealth, we do leave the mortal life with an account of our karma, which has an acutely bearing on our life after mortal death.
The statement, merely, refers to our obsession with material wealth and greed. Most of us arrive with godly virtues but leave with a baggage of sin, transgressions, ethical violations and indiscretions.
Our soul leaves rapped up within the covering of our karma, both good and bad.
So as far as possible aspire to live an honest, charitable, god-fearing life.
