There are good people in Bollywood, no doubt. But, unfortunately, it is dominated by greedy, selfish, vain, and childish (for proof see Kapil Sharma show) individuals, people void of compassion and morals. They have adopted the worse of both Indian and western cultures. Otherwise, how can you explain thousands dying from lack of most basic amenities like food and water while Bollywood never sleeps high on parties, fashion shows and alcohol!
All night parties, high on booze, drugs and sex, it has created a market for exploiting young, innocent, wide-eyed girls lured by the glitter of the Indian cinema. The plethora of dance bars, legal and illegal joints bear evidence to this.
The current affairs in India have unsurfaced the ugly soul of Bollywood. While the Indian Jawans are laying down their lives for the country, some leading voices are more concerned with their movies and actors from the enemy country. It’s disappointing that so many who are normally vociferous on other issues are quiet on this one. Several, who waste no time in criticising the government and the country when it suits them, are mum on the issue of actors from the hostile country working in Bollywood.
I, for one, have stopped watching Hindi movies in general, with few exceptions. The people benefitting from these most are the over-paid actors with bank accounts bursting at the seams, fully blown egos but hollow minds. No wonder the industry is attracting so many from across the border to just fill their coffers, and enrich the enemy economy, to invest on more lethal weapons to unleash on India. Indirectly, Bollywood is financing the defence budget of the enemy,
Bollywood has a lot to answer for India’s woes.
